Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s famous poem ‘The Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ was allegedly inspired during his walking tour of the Quantock Hills in 1798 in the company of Wordsworth and Wordsworth’s sister, Dorothy. The Mariner Suite is named in recognition of this areas proud association with Coleridge, a founder member of the Romantic Movement.
This beautifully proportioned and spacious room on the first floor has a king size four poster, a generous seating area and splendid en-suite with roll top bath, separate shower and his and her sinks. There is private access to the gardens.
